Trying to match up best combination for my G12H in Maz38 sr combo. I have a cab and want to replace speaker with compliment to G12H. Vintage 30? Greenback? need recommendation.
Thanks, jd0009

Maybe the best match to place in the cab would be another G12H. Thoughts?

The higher wattage complement would be the V30.

I like a pair of g12hs better than the g12h/v30 combo. JMO

Favorite - G12H30 + Weber Blue Dog Alnico (30 or 50 watt).
Combo that's great for country, rock, pop, blues. Weber's is a higher powered take on the Alnico blue. That G12/Alnico combo is pretty popular in several 'other' boutique manufacture amps (Div 13 as one). Gives you a great pairing of the open/tight bass/crisp high/aggressive ceramic nature coupled with the smooth/compressed/softer bass/chimey high alnico. Just a super feel/tone.
2nd Favorite - G12H30 + V30
Aggressive/full-toned and nicely balanced combo that loves to rock or wail the blues. Would also be nice for pop and americana.

I'm using this combination with my Ghia now and I really like it.
