Since it is tough for me to try Dr.Z amps where I live, would you folks say that the sound clips on the website are accurate of the true tone of each amp?

Yes. On the other hand they really need to be experienced to be appreciated. I have yet to play a Z I don't like/own.

I would say they are accurate as far as they go. But the guitars used, speakers used, cabs used, and the playing skills etc. may all be different from what you have or plan to use. One thing this forum is great for is that there is a Sounds forum here and you can hear how real people are using their Z amps in the real world. There are a lot of great tones on the Z web page, but if you check the Sounds forum here, you'll come to understand that there are a LOT more great tones in all of these amps.
