Howdy Pardners, I'm proud to say I finally snapped up a Studio Lead Head with Verb and FX Loop! YES! I had a Z epiphany about 4 or 5 years ago when I first plugged into a MAZ invasion combo, and thought, "this is IT, man, this is the amp for ME!" But no... I had to try every other amp under the friggin sun first, thinking I was saving money, getting more versatility, etc, blah... So, the time is now, and I am wondering what the background is on this model, and what advice folks may have concerning the FX loop send and return settings, and the pull Treble pot (what's it do?) and any other stuff related. Thanks alot, T Money (aka - Starving For A Friggin Gig In Durango) Peace!

Congrats on the amp, Tmoney, and welcome to the Z family! That's a killer amp you've got. My best advice concerning a used amp would be to budget some $$ for new power tubes. The Studio Lead head was the precursor to today's MAZ 38 Senior. I hate giving out incorrect info, but I believe the pull knob was an "expand" switch that affects the midrange. Is that Tjstrat's old Studio Lead that you bought? He just had one up on Ebay last week. Maybe he could chime in. If that is his old amp you won't need to retube it right away.
