Myles, I noticed on your website that you suggested using Groove Tube's the Brick w/ a GT-55 mic for live application with your Ghia. (you also cited an Audio Technica mic on another part)
I am looking into a Brick myself, but I am curious about the microphone, because I know there are many brands models out there.
My first concern is that the Carmen Ghia is a small amp, and I'm sure that the 55 and the Brick work wonders in that combination. But I run my KT-45 pretty loudly (335 style guitar into the 45 at Vol 1 o'clock, Treble n Bass at noon, w/ a Treble Booster to really get the crunch going). I'm thinking an Airbrake may help, but I still want to work the speakers enough. I also want to use the same set up with my new Mini Z.
So essentially I'm curious what mircrophone do you suggest for applications w/ a small amp and a medium sized amp, with the Brick for live application
