Well my good friend Myles Rose called me today and suggested I update my notes from DR.Z post, I thought that was a brilliant idea so here goes.
First let me wish you all a healthy and happy 2008.
2007 was a banner year here at Z-amps, with record sales. All the numbers aren't in yet but some slight adjustments in long lead supplies are in order to maximize our efficiency and I'm taking measures to do just that. We will remain 100% US handmade , and proud of it.
2008 is our 20th anniversary year in business, Z-amps started March 7, 1988. We are having badges made to put on all amps build after March and then through out 2008 to honor this accomplishment.
We will have a couple tricks up our sleeves for 2008, but one I can leak is the release of the EZG-50 ( aka Evan ) . I hope to have completed units to show and play at Z-Fest this June.
The EZG-50 will be the Reverb 6L6 amp I have been working on for over a year now. It will have a two knob Reverb control, Dwell for depth of the reverb echo, and Mix for the wet and dry combination of the amount of Reverb. Full EQ with a Pre and Post Volume controls. Initially it will be released as a head only.
There's a little look ahead, I hope it wet your appetites, I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at the 2008 Z-Fest.

GuitarZ: So, I cranked up the privacy protection on my browsers, facebook, etc. I have to say I miss the music ads and such. I really don't need ads for watches and other random stuff. Maybe the internet knowing me isn't such a bad thing.
