Probably won't get mine until early March according to Sweetwater. Until then, I have to live vicariously through you all. Bet you're stoked. Feel free to post a clip or two!

I’ve only had 5 mins with it, but it is unlike anything I’ve played before. It has to the the most dynamic amp I’ve ever played and it keeps all the dynamics even at low volume. I’ll take it to rehearsal tonight and check back in tomorrow morning.
Oh, to me, it sounds nothing like the CG. It sits in a class all by itself.
More to come.

A quick note before I go to practice. It seems to be just right for the Gold Top with the V:12; T:2; B:10; C:2. You get a good "just breaking up" tone. Pick lightly, it's clean. Hit a hard power chord, it jumps! There's a lot of gain in it too. It will work for the Rock band that we're trying to get off the ground.
Everyone needs one!

I got all the way to rehearsal only for it to be canceled. We'll rehearse the day of the gig. So, I've not been able to spend more time with it. I will today and will check back. Someone wanted a clip of high gain power chords with a Les Paul. I'll try to get that done today.

One more pic. The Cure is right beside it and my CG is sneaking a peek around the corner. They're both jealous of this Wreck Jr. Goldberry loves it! lol

Very sharp looking. Congrats, Russell. I'm sure you'll have many years of enjoyment from that amp.
Btw, pics don't show up when using Firefox, but they're fine in Microsoft Edge. One for the tech team to sort out, I guess.

That's strange, I'm using Firefox and the pictures are coming through fine. I don't think I've done anything special in the options menu either...weird. Did you reboot? I've got a similar issue with .pdf files. They open in Edge but not in Firefox.

I have rebooted and even installed an optional Win10 update today without an effect on the pics visibility.
Weird scenes inside the gold mine.

I had my first gig with it. I had to get used to it! I’m use to dynamic amps, but this one is REALLY dynamic! It went well. The amp sounds great. Every one needs one!

I was about to jump on a Cure but tone-wise the wreck jr seems more up my alley. And is the new dr z master volume suitable for home use?

They are completely different animals and they are both great amps. The Cure is more “black face” Fender that breaks into smooth overdrive. American tone all the way. It’s also a pretty dynamic amp. The Wreck Jr. is British all the way. It has Voxy chime and will morph into Marshall style gain. It is also the most dynamic amp I’ve ever played. Both are rated at a LOUD 15 watts. They will be the loudest 15 watts you’ll ever hear. Both are killer amps!

I don’t have a Z Master, but I got to play one at the last Z Fest. It’s a killer amp. It’s pretty loud too compared to the Cure and the Z Wreck Jr. it’s as great as that’s two. More ‘50s American tone.

How are you liking the Wreck Jr. with your 535? Man yeah! This amp has taken all my guitars well. I’ll gig the 535 with this amp next Saturday. That will be the real measure, but it sounds great here at home and I figure it will be great in a band environment.

I find my Ghia, Z-Plus and Therapy express the nuances of my 535 so well. Change a tone control of the 535, mix the volume knobs differently and the amps reflect the voice of the instrument so intricately. I'm not a artist/painter but I would equate it to a fine canvas absorbing the paint mix and texture; fully expressing the artists intent. I hope you'll share the results of the gig. Congrats.
Saving for my own Wreck Jr.

I just placed my order for the wreck jr combo today so I’m putting my faith in the master volume that it’ll be usable at home. I dumped my 50 watts combos about 10+ years ago and have been using a fender champ 600 and pedals since then, but I’m going to pass that down to my son and have been itching for a non-pedal overdrive amp for a while. Can’t wait to hear what this sounds like in person.

Trying to post pics of mine with my Z Verb but can't figure out how to do it. Keeps wanting to pull a picture from a website. Is there a way to take a picture off your phone or computer to post?
