I'm very interested in hearing about this. Weight is the primary reason I stopped using 4x12's many years ago.

Interesting. The external measurements of that cab mojo lists are the same as the baffle size of my Marshall 1960 cab. Wonder why there's not a closed back option? I love the 412. Let us know how this smaller lighter version rocks!

Wonder why there's not a closed back option? I love the 412. Let us know how this smaller lighter version rocks! I'm sure they can do a closed back. But the 10.5" depth might need to be increased. Cab came today in a regular 4x12 cab shipping box. Was funny how light it was in the box.. 52 lbs, but light compared to what normally comes in that size box. The cab was surrounded by lots of padding in the box. Was even funnier how light the cab is after I got it out of the box! I sat my Komet 29 on top and proceeded to rock! I totally dig this cab!!! Love the BIG sound and open back. Always wanted an open back 4-12. I have a 4-10 open back but this thing is a totally different animal. PLUS it's lighter than the 4-10!! I only played it about 20 minutes but love the Celestion Neo Creambacks. Sound basically like a Creamback M so far. Great right out of the box. AND...It's not as loud as I had expected, which is a great thing. They are 97db's and I didn't realize that. Smooth with plenty of highs.... That Celestion midrange and nice solid lows. I'll share more in the coming days but I am very impressed and satisfied!

PLUS it's lighter than the 4-10!! A 4x10 open back. huh. I have a Marshall 1965a 4x10 closed back ( i've had 3) that I just love. I'd like to hear a 4x10 open back.

The open back 4x10 is a good part of the Tweed Bassman's mojo. They're swirly sounding, like reverb without reverb.
