Have a Maz 18 and love it! Thinking of the Z Plus due to lower wattage. Like the Maz effects loop. Is there any difference in the Maz and Z Plus loops? If so, what? Will I void the warranty if I change the Z Plus speaker to a Celestion Creamback?

You will not void the warranty if you change the speaker, however you will become a controversial topic if you swap Black and White speaker wires.

The Z-Plus has its own thing going on even though it shares DNA with the MAZ series. I don't use the effects loop often, but it has worked fine when I have.
You could also consider sticking a Brake Lite on your MAZ if you want to bring the volume down.
