Has anyone tried a Maz 38 with a Celestion Creamback? I’ve had 2 Maz 18’s with the Vintage 30, and a Maz 8 with the Alnico Blue (wish I never sold it), and was considering a Maz 38 head with a 1x12 cab with a creamback in it. Thoughts?

Yes, it is a great speaker for that amp configuration. I also tried the Cream Alnico in a closed back 1 x 12 and that is really nice! I have the 38 in a Studio Combo with the Cream Alnico.
You can't miss with the creamback.

That's what's in my Maz 38 combo now and I love it.

What would the Creamback pair better with if i were to stick one in my 2x12 combo? The vin30 or the g12h30? And when creamback i'm referring to the G12M-65.

I would go with the V30 too.
However, I personally wouldn't do it. I'd stick with the V30...G12h pairing. Those speakers offset each other very nicely.

The Creamback is my current choice for the any of the Maz's. Especially love the way "dirt" sounds through them. Not to say I don't like the cleans too. I do, but I just really like how driven sounds come through the Creamback.
