....AND 20% off sale through Monday Dec 2nd! www.throbak.com/telecaster-pickups.htmlJon has been talking about Tele pickups for a couple of years. I've been anxiously waiting for this. I just ordered the '59 set. I have and have had several guitars with his humbuckers over the years and had a Strat with the '63 set. I'm a big fan. Looking forward to the Tele set.

I've been fighting this for two days. I'm a big fan a well. The 63 strat set is great and for humbuckers I've had the DT-102s and the ER's and they were both some of the best I've heard. I've got a set of Peter Florance 59s in my tele now and they're really good but that Jon winds a great pickup. Curiosity gets the best of me.

$350 for a pair of tele pickups?
I will say, Throbak is located right next to the 6th ave bridge where a guy pulled a WWI hand grenade out of the river a few days ago. (Grand Rapids)

$350 for a pair of tele pickups? That's better than $580 for a pair of humbuckers! However, it was actually $270 with the 20% Thanksgiving sale that ended yesterday. Yes, they are expensive pickups, but worth it....to me....for me. In my opinion.
