Look... I get it. It breaks the rules. No carved top and a small body makes it seem like a cheap rip off of their other models. I’m here to say that this guitar is flat out amazing. Maybe I got lucky, but it’s a keeper for sure. I have had very few guitars that have made me want to play clean. I go clean for my initial tests and immediately add gain. Every time. Not so with the Midtown. It does dirty just fine, but the Midtown into the Wreck with the volume rolled off to clean things up is heavenly. Oh and it’s still stock. Ya gotta go play one.

The Midtown had to be let go :/
I couldn’t resist a trade offer for a ‘72 LP Deluxe

I've always been intrigued by the Midtown's, except I hate neck binding.

I’ve wanted a 70s Lester for a long time so I couldn’t pass up that opportunity. However, I am a very GASsy guy.
Re:binding. I won’t buy a Gibson without it. Fret sprout on Gibson’s hanging new on a wall is a problem for their QC.
