'68 Deluxe, I've owned since about 1970, and it shows. Love those mini-humbuckers. Still the originals. They sure sound sweet.

This is a very modified 2014 Traditional Pro II '50s. Faber and RS hardware, Creamtone plastics, Duncan Seth Lovers with alnico 4 magnets (I can't leave anything alone), VIPots, nickel plated Grover locking tuners...

But do you have matching cream-plastic switch & control covers on the back? I feel that this ties the whole look together...

2015 modded with 50s wiring and Lollar P90s. The staple in the neck is nice. No mud.. favorite setting on this guitar. Plays great even though it has the ‘15 karma.. 🙄

What is the 2015 karma? Had not heard of that before. Pretty sure it was the heyday of "robot" automatic tuners, chambered LP "standards," push-pull pots on everything, different signature on headstock, asymmetrical neck profiles, etc., etc. Basically, everything that didn't need to be on a "genuine" Gibson.

My first Gibson. It's a 97 Classic. It's been thru lots of gigs, lots of pickups and even a head stock repair. I'll never sell this one.

This guy just came home with me. The trade isn’t finalized, but I don’t foresee anything getting in the way at this point. So I’m just assuming it will be mine. 72 deluxe. EDIT: it is official and she’s mine!

It's got Seymour Duncan Phat Cats in it. They're P-90's in a humbucker size casing.
I tune it to open E flat. It's got a real nice midrange honk to it.

Had not heard of that before. Lot of negativity from Gibson aficionados due to the tuners, wider neck, 0 fret and headstock art. I agree the art is bad. This one is a deluxe.. solid body. Excellent fit and finish. I like the neck. They were bargains!! 😀

This caught my eye today. Reminded me of when I bought her. Something about the finish that just stopped me in my tracks as I was heading out of the store. My tea burst 2010 58 VOS Les Paul Realized I did not mention a few mods. RS Guitar Works vintage pots and PIO caps. Also got a set of Tyson Tone Preachers pickups in it. The neck has a single coil like clarity to it. The bridge is driven and thick. Just the way I like it. The middle position is really great too. Cannot say enough good things about the Tyson Tone pickups.
