The more I play my Maz 18 Mk.II..... Then play other amps, I realize the Maz 18 is probably the best pedal-platform amp I've ever used! My Stingray is good, but almost a bit too scooped and hi-fi for some drive pedals to sound good. My Maz 18 has the perfect balance of GREAT cleans and a perfect pedal platform. Just a post of gratitude!

You're very welcome. The Parallel wired input triode is the secret.

Now I understand why Doc uses the MAZ front end in many of his amp designs. Such a great total design solution that complements the modern player requirements for great sound and performance.
Recently acquired a Z LUX, how I am blown away at the bass response. Very percussive sound, one of the best sounding amps I have heard. Another great performing amp with a MAZ front end design.
