I'm in the market for a new Wah pedal. My Fulltone Clyde died in 2015 (it was 15 years old) and I bought a Japanese Girl Wah Pedal to replace it. It works pretty well, but I'm looking for more of a traditional sized wah. Of course, I could go back with the Clyde, but I thought I'd ask my fellow Z folks for your opinions on today's wahs.
Thanks!

When I read your post title, I was gonna suggest the one that I use and have for a long time... A Fulltone Clyde! I actually own two as I had a large board and a small one. I've had the old one for quite a while and so far it has been bullet proof. If you like the Clyde, nothing wrong with getting a new one. Plus they now have a buffer that is switchable in case any other pedals don't want to play nice.

I certainly could get another Clyde. Im not against that at all. I’m just looking for some opinions and experiences with this post.

I currently use (sparingly) a Joe Bonamassa sig wah, but honestly it's really hard to beat the $80 original Crybaby....they're really, really good....

I have two wahs. The Proanalog Devices Supaquack wah and a standard Dunlop (back up). Both are killer wahs.

Check out the Area 51. It's the one I've kept (although I don't gig with a wah pedal right now).

I've never heard of the Supaquack, but the videos sound good. Y' all keep the recommendations coming.

I've been using the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe for about 5 years now and it's been a great wah. Not cheap at $239 but it is well made and sounds good. I got a Line 6 HX Effects and the Mission expression pedal a few weeks ago and I used the wah function at a gig last night. It worked really well, and the bass player said he thought it was great. At home in the music room I like the Fulltone, but at the gig I actually preferred the HX Effects one. Go figure. I'm an Analog Man but I now have issues.

I have the Dunlop MC404 CAE Wah (Custom Audio Electronics). It has some cool functions, but I just typically use it as a standard wah. The sweep is nice, plus it's true bypass.
I've always wanted to try the Jimi Hendrix JH1D.

The Fulltone Clyde is the best one I've ever used. I guess I've had mine since 2001. I keep it at the studio and lots of people use it. I had so much trouble dealing with the owner that if that one died I'd probably be looking around for something else too. Never played a Wah with a 'smoother throw' than the Clyde.

I couldn't agree more, Fuller is very difficult to work with. I had to take pictures and write a letter explaining why I needed a rubber bumper for my Fulltone Clyde Deluxe. He did send me one, but what a hassle it was. Worst customer service ever.

I haven't tried the Xotic, but a friend of mine has one. He says the internal dip switches and external adjustments work great. Very easy to dial in the effect you want.
