All pretty close, sound-wise. What's your fave and why?

I go back and forth on this one Jon. Until I bought the Strymon Lex, I never liked any of the Leslie sim pedals. That's changed. The Lex is now a solid fixture in my rig.
I've tried several Vibe pedals, and have sold every one of them. I have a Nux Monterey Vibe now and plan to give it a go in a gig situation.
Haven't used a Phaser in a quite a while.
Plus there's the old standbys Chorus and Flanger. Until I found the Lex, I was using 2 Ibanez Mini Chorus pedals to simulate slow and fast Leslie. Sounded great. Plus, having a slow Chorus helped on 80's era Country tunes.
Let us know what you decide.

I agree with LT above.
I have a LEX on my board and love it. However, I also have a DECO and you can set that as phase/flange/chorus on the tape delay side...
I think a big part of your personal decision would be what type(s) of tunes you'd be playing and how they may call for a certain sound.
Another thing you may want to consider is having a good chorus AND a good phaser. When set properly and both on, they simulate a rotary/univibe, plus you have their individual sounds...A "three in two" pedal(s) if you will.

This pic is a coupla years old....
The Lex and the Deco (as well as the Flint) are now "welded to the board"....
I use the Lex sparingly, but it's a very believable Leslie sim. Even better in stereo....
Didn't work well for me with the EH B9 or C9 tone wheel organ (B3) emulators, as the volume of the decaying organ notes died out before the "leslie" spooled down. I think it would have been more fruitful had I added a compressor in the chain for sustain....
I've had a Mojovibe, Uni's, and a handful of phasers but didn't bond long term....

Cool--thanks, gentlemen. So tell me about the Lex. I own one, but haven't found the right combination of settings, maybe. I'd typically run it after a dirt pedal of some sort, so with that in mind, how would you set it to get a convincing SRV-meets-Jimi kind of tone?

I set my Lex as follows Fast rotor - 2 o'clock Mic distance - 3 Horn level - 2 Preamp - off I don't think I modified any of the secondary functions.
I've been running mine post OD, but it sounds great pre OD as well.
I've never tried what Scottc said about the Chorus and Phaser. Sounds interesting!

On one of my boards, a Pedaltrain Mini, I have limited space, so I use an Analogman BiChorus with one side set slow, like 11/11, and the other side set faster but with less depth, like 3/9, so I have some options.

I like Vibe pedals. That thick Robin Trower liquid dripping chorus that has that hanging almost delay like tone. I went back to the Jam pedals retro vibe. Its the most authentic sounding Vibe I have ever owned. It sounds great clean as well as with fuzz or overdrive after it. I just like it for what it does. It's that underwater sound. With a strat it sounds really cool not so much with humbuckers. It's thick yet chewy sounding. This ones not muddy or overly phasey its voiced just right.

I've always wanted a Neo Ventilator. Love the Leslie sound, but $499 is a huge hurdle.

I have a Fulltone Deja-Vibe Mini. I thought it was the best vibe from the demos I have heard of the various options. Listening to it live tells me I was correct. However I still need to get a good Leslie sim. It will be one of the Neo pedals. I miss not owning a real 122 but not hauling it. Those two effects are different enough to have both. With those I can easily do without a phasor.

They all do different things, so it's hard to say. I think the even sweep of a phaser (plus a resonance control) is more versatile but when you want that 'vibe thump there is no alternative.

For most use I keep it at 9:00.
I've run it both before and after OD's.... no preference there...

Thanks, Lee--yeah, I was just fiddling with it and those are pretty close to the settings I came up with, except I'm running the preamp at zero. I like it--it's a little more organic sounding than a phaser, to my ear.

I have a Lex and a Ventilator. I use them both. I am using the Ventilator a bit more than the Lex right now- slight preference for adjustability and growl, but the Lex is also amazing. Great way to lift up a rhythm part- or even a solo. I leave it on for most 12-string cleans and a lot of rhythm 6-string cleans.

I’ve got a JHS Unicorn v2. I prefer it over the Fulltone due to size, but the Fulltone sounds amazing. If I wanted to spend a little less money, I’d pickup a secondhand JAM Pedals The Ripple (2-stage phaser based on the MXR Phase 45). I love the sound of vibrato/univibe. Leslie sims are cool (I had a Lex and a Mobius), but I didn’t really use it much.

Well, I'm not really sure exactly the differences from vibe, phaser, etc. However, I saw this pedal a couple weeks back and thought....cool, and it's purple 😎
Thinking about out ordering one tomorrow, just because.

I remember the first time I plugged into a real Leslie. It was a 1954 Tele into a 145 and I just thought "My Gawd this is incredible sounding". I still think no other mod effect comes close to a Leslie. To get the real effect with a pedal it has to be in stereo. I had an H&K Rotosphere for awhile and it did a darn good job but was unreliable and BIG. I want a Ventilator really bad.

I've had real Leslie units, I've had the motion sound stuff, I've had rotary simulator pedals and all of them have a place and a sound and I actually like all that I've tried (some to more degree than others) but uni-vibe is where my heart is. Right now I've got a lot of uni-vibe: helix, boss md-500, dunlop rotovibe, wilson haze, gonna get another fulltone deja vibe (the best in my book). I love them all
