Which artists play Ghias? I looked at Dr Z Patients on the website but it doesn’t say which model they play.

Seeing how he's mentioned in another current thread, Phil X was spotted a few years ago with one piled into the back of a Ford Edge

Wow! Didn’t realize Mick used one. I’ll be seeing him in a couple of weeks. I don’t think they set their amps out on stage though. Was that something that came about when Brad Paisley opened for them in Nashville a few years ago? I was at that show and your buddy Joe Walsh made a fun appearance.

Was that something that came about when Brad Paisley opened for them in Nashville a few years ago? I was at that show and your buddy Joe Walsh made a fun appearance. The relationship likely ramped up around then. If I recall, Brad & Mick were recording in studio and Brad made the call to Doc to get a Ghia for Mick. I think Doc & crew quickly overnighted one to Mick (if i recall). Here's the picture that was floating around from that time:

Here's one from way back, old tele and Ghia borrowed from our Z-bruh Richeray. Pretty sure it was a 2X10 cab, and maybe a King of Tone on the yellow channel just 'on' enough to hit the input a little harder so I didn't have to be too loud and the 10's wouldn't get too mushy on the rhythm parts. I normally wouldn't use a pedal but the gig is an old house in Piermont NY and pretty close quarters. Here's the 1X10 (facebook video, hope y'all can 'see' it) www.facebook.com/joni.trevino.5/videos/10209970319788331/
