I never really liked the case my Crook T-Style came in so I'm looking for a new one.
I like the dedicated neck pocket in these cases. The LED thing I'm not sure about but why not give it a try. Opening the case will be like Excalibur !

It's the same case as the Gator TSA/ATA Molded case. It's a really great case. Most trustworthy case I've found for flying. I know I've talked about checking my Les Pauls countless times with one of these cases. I just got 2 more of them last week for my trip to Russia with my wife's band tomorrow. These don't have the lights but they are light and super strong and have TSA locks.

^^^^Nice roscoe ! I'm going to place the order tonight/tomorrow. Amazon sells them here in Canada.
Sounds like you you are giving them a real-world test tomorrow! Safe travels.

Roscoe - Rock On in Russia!!! Have Fun!!!
Regarding the cases, my first thought was "Really?" Then I thought about it. It's not a bad thing to have a flash light in your guitar case when you're on the side of a dark stage. And, since they're LEDs, batteries will not have to be changed that often. Why not add a new trick to guitar cases. Cool!

Happy to report after 6 flights in the last 10 days the guitars and cases came out unscathed. Again, 2 thumbs up for the Gator ATA/TSA molded cases.

I didn't order mine yet as my wife says "That would be nice as a gift!" Lol....I suspect one will show up Fathers' Day 😀 Good report on the case but more importantly on the precious cargo within e case. Definitely getting one, with or without the LED (they are the same price)

Could really come in handy for changing a broken string at a dark gig, rolling doobies at breaktime, or trying to find a "Woody's Raincoat" in the back of the groupie van ....

What are TSA locks? This is something I should probably know, but I do not.

What are TSA locks? This is something I should probably know, but I do not. You aren't allowed to lock any luggage in the USA post 9/11. Only with "TSA" locks. TSA Agents have a pass key that lets them open any TSA lock without breaking the lock.

I've got a cross country trip coming and I'd like to take my Custom Shop 50th Anniversary '68LP Custom but the thought of checking it in baggage makes me real uneasy. These look like they could take it though. I'm assuming you checked them with baggage?

That’s what they are made for.

Opening the case will be like Excalibur ! When I got my Crooks I wasn’t too thrilled with the cases either. Bill told me up front that the case would be light weight and not on the high end, so no big deal. One thing about Bill, other than the fact that he builds the best guitars, is that he’s extremely honest. I bought the $279 Titan cases for my Crooks and guess what...I only use the cheaper cases that came with the guitars lol. I love that their light weight, compact and made of wood. The Titans were VERY heavy and bulky. If I was traveling long distance or flying I’d probably want the Titan. Now I am digging the LED case!!! It looks smaller than the Titan
