I have a chance to get a Z Wreck that is used it looks like it's mint and it's a Head and 2X12 Cab with a Gold & Blue speaker. Comes with a Cover and I have never played thru one. For those who have this amp could you tell me if it would cover Surf, British Invasion & Folk Rock. Thanks

If the price is right go for it. It will cover the music you mentioned quite nicely. With a few pedals and a zverb or reverb pedal you can cover a lot of ground. I recommend a attenuators. I like the Airbrake and Power Station. The Z Wrecks hold their value so if it doesn't float your boat you can turn it around easily. It's a great amp!

I noticed on Reverb a Z-Wreck Quantum Silver going for $2,400 if that helps you judge how good the price is that is on the amp you are looking at.

The guy wants $2699 and it's from 2/12 the good thing I can go and play thru the amp.

You might want to print out the ad of the amp for $2,400 for bargaining.

Of course negotiation is key, but after you play through it your gonna want it. Especially if you get a chance to put it in the mix of a band. To me that’s really where the wreck shines...but then again that’s where all Z amps shine over others.

I’ve had a quantum silver set for a few months I got here on Z Talk and I love it. There are a few people locally who know I have it and try to get me to let go of it pretty regularly. BUT, it’s managed to fight off those temptations every time. It’s a great amp and I honestly feel that it may be the first amp I’ve had that will stay with me for years. Mine is also #9 so that’s kinda cool

Hey guys I'm leaning more and more towards the Z Wreck I sit in with a band when I can and the lead singer said the Z Wreck is the way to go. Then he said get a Telecaster and I just have to wait a little longer to play thru the Amp this would be my first DR Z Amp.
