What would be an acceptable price for a used Z-lux head in mint condition?

Just curious, are you buying or selling?

50 to 60% of street\retail\new. So between $1200-1400. That sounds great to me but for some reason seems low.

Definitely a buyers market right now. But that does seem a bit low.

I bought new, then had to have another... Those will be with me for the long haul.

I don’t see a single used ZLux on Reverb or eBay. It does seem a buyers market if there a many of a given amp available - if there are few, the prices should hold higher because the alternative is buying new.

Just a finger in the air guideline that I have found pretty accurate for several years now (buying or selling). Adjust for supply & demand. What do completed sales on reverb say? There must have been a few by now.

Looks ~$1750 to $2200 for sold, used combos. Heads a few hundred less.

That means GC probably bought it for ~$1700 or so. But the lure there is that the seller doesn't have to hassle shipping the amp and/or risking a dissatisfied, tire kicking "I want a refund" buyer.

Yea Plus If you don't like it you can return it a local GC but you will still have to pay for the shipping fees. I would watch this and see if it goes down in price. GC will lower the price on it If it don't sell after a while.
