Hello everyone Unfortunately the red pilot light of my old MAZ (the one with attached power cord) broke down last week. I decided to replace it with a jewel light (fender stye), drilled a bigger hole and soldered the wires to the socket. I measured the voltage and it was about 140 Volts so the bulb i´ve choosen is one with 130V. The amp works fine but the jewel light doesn´t work - i have no idea what the problem is. Maybe you can help me? Thank you so much! Have a nice weekend, Tobi

Update: I measured the voltage again and it says 230V (since i am located in germany). Maybe the resistor is broken?

It's a type 47 bulb, 6.3 volts. Typically these use the secondary filament winding from the power transformer. Modding your amp isn't such a good idea. You might check with the shop, send an email to Don at drzrepairs@gmail.com for info on 240 volt amps. And welcome to the forum, by the way!

Hey Dave, thanks for your quick reply! I guess i found the problem - the pre resistor value is way too high for the new 130V 20mA bulb so i have to change the resistor value Thank you very much! Best regards, Tobi
