Can this be done? I have a head and a Gold and would like to make it a 1x12 combo!

Get in touch with Peter Mather @ Mather Cabs: www.mathercab.com. He’s built plenty of cabs for folks around here. I’m sure he can outfit you with a combo cab for your Wreck.

Not sure if Doc sells just the combo cabs but might be worth checking with them. Im typically a DIY/aftermarket tinkerer, but with that expensive of an amp, I’d want to put it in the stock combo unit in case I ever decided to resell.

There’s a very slim chance of Z having a blem cab available as they don’t typically offer new replacements. Other than that, your best bet is going to be Mather. His quality is top notch, so I wouldn’t worry about that. As mentioned before, he’s built Wreck style combo cabs for others here.
As far as trying to resell, most would want the amp in its original form factor, whether it be a head or combo. Although I wouldn’t necessarily count on it, having the Mather cab in addition could potentially add a little value in that instance. At the very least, IF there comes a point the OP would want to sell, he could sell the cab separately.
Another option, Maven, is to see if there is someone who would want to trade their combo cab for your head cab.

I'm pretty sure brother Dave (premiumplus) converted the Wreck head he bought from me to a combo. Might want to pm him.

I had the head and came across an empty 1x12 combo cab (semi-local) CL deal... Bought the cab and did the swap. I kept the empty head-shell for about 2 years, finally sold it and the empty 2x12 cab. Hind-sight being what it is, I wish I still had some iteration of the Z-Wreck... I LOVED the look of the head/cab, but the tone of the 1x12 was fuller for some reason. The logo was facing the wrong way on my combo, but unless you seen it the correct way, you would have never known it was wrong. You can kind of see my upside-down logo here:
