Okay. I think my woes might just be over with the new Russian Tubes (thanks again Perry). Still want to replace the other tubes with the suggestions from fellow members. For now I'll just post a recording at rehearsal last night with the new band. Working on a mashup of two classic songs. It seems the Monza has some life back in her. The chords seem to ring nicely and when I dig in it gets chunkier..especially at the end little solo. I start the song and you can get a listen on the MONZA! There is another guitar in there but he's not playing all the time when he's singing. I'm not playing the beginning melody, but you can hear me playing the chunky rhythm. She's growling more at the end in the solo, which she hasn't been doing. It's just my Keith Holland Strat (style), into slight bit of carbon copy, and into the amp. No boost pedal on this one. I just turned the guitar volume up to max. And forgive the sloppiness PS Listening back, and recalling last night, she sounds clearer and fatter at the same time now. Before she was flat...now she is fat...Yay! PPS The Volume was about noon, the drive was somewhere around noon or 1 o'clock, the tone was maybe 2 or 3 o'clock, and the master was somewhere below 9 o'clock. MONZA with new Russian Tubes!

Tubes definitely make the difference! Nice chunky, growl - It's a Monza! Thanks for sharing.
