I received my new set of tubes from Perry two days ago (I bought my Wreck used and I didn't know the use and abuse that those tubes had, so a change wouldn't do any bad), and put them in the amp yesterday. I think that it now has, if possible, a little more 'sparkle'; I should add that I also replaced the rectifier with the one I had in my Maz, a NOS Philips 5AR4, as I know I won't be using my Maz in a long time. This amp keeps surprising me: I turned up the volume up to the 1 p.m.- ish area (with the help of an Ultimate attenuator, of course!!) and used the volume in my Tele to get the cleans or the dirt, and I literally stepped on no pedals other than my tremolo or my Deco for some slapback. The amp really shines within the band context/situation, and it is really responsive to my right hand, now even more. Pedals become part of the amp, even modulation effects through the front end. I have to say that Perry was a pleasure to deal with, fast and safe deal and excellent tubes. Trust him with all your confidence. Now I have an 'almost' brand new Wreck and a spare set of tubes in case anything happens. Thanks Doc for such an amazing amp(BTW, I could check that no one else but the Doctor built my amp!!!!!). Tons of tone!!

GuitarZ: So, I cranked up the privacy protection on my browsers, facebook, etc. I have to say I miss the music ads and such. I really don't need ads for watches and other random stuff. Maybe the internet knowing me isn't such a bad thing.

GuitarZ: Reminds me of buying my Honda. When they tried to sell me the maintenance package, I said "Is your car not reliable?" Long story short my wife teamed up with the sales lady to buy the maint package. Never again!
