Maddog, Candy Tangerine is one of my favorite finishes and those two old "holy grail" bassmans are impressive. Edited to add a pic of my Candy Tangerine (not as impressive as yours). I figured I wasn't side tracking Dave's revived NGD thread at this point. I love that color! I wish mine was more like that (or Sonic Blue) but man, I've never played a Strat that felt or sounded better than mine. It feels like it was built for me. I'll try to get a sound clip up one day soon.

The more I play this Strat the better I love it. I was really hesitant about dropping that much cash for a guitar but it's so sweet. It's got the 1964 sound nailed and I just dig the pickups. They hit the amp a little harder than the 50's do and just sound great. Plus when I back off the volume it gets really sweet. Killer clean or driven and it feels like a glove when you play it. If you're on the fence about Fender's Custom Shop instruments, I highly urge you to check one out. They're beautiful.
It and my Nova have the call for tonight's church service...what a great pair.

Everyone needs a good strat. Most comfortable guitar there is. Glad to hear you found a good one Dave.
