T posted this on FB - had to share it here. JD is one of my favorite guitar players - you can tell he loves what he's doing. I've seen him live a couple of times - great guy. Loves his vintage gear! I'm sure that is a '50s V and not a replica or later model. Enjoy!

Wish I'd known enough or had been smart enough to turn the stack sideways back in the day. The 4 measure interplay between them near the end is very nice.

I like the clip-on fan behind the amp head. He services his own amps on site. I once saw him working on his own amp just before he went onstage. He was telling us what the issue was and what he was going to do. He said vintage sound was worth the effort. He was playing a 1963 ES 335 that night.
