Just a PSA. I know this is an amp focused forum for electric guitars but I know a lot of us have acoustics as well. This time of year is brutal on guitars due to the low humidity levels. Make sure you are properly humidifying your guitars....especially the acoustics. Keep the guitars in their cases as well until you play them. I have had good luck with the Planet Waves Humidipak's. I had my Taylor crack a number of years ago and it wasn't cheap to fix so do yourself a favor and hydrate your babies.

I've been somewhat diligent. So, I was surprised tonight to find my humidifier dry as the desert. Keep 'em humidified!

Just refilled all my Oasis humidifiers again this weekend. Keep them cases closed and check & refill the humidifiers regularly!

I keep my all my guitars in our home office/studio. Have a humidifier that keeps the whole room a constant 50%. Now if I could just get the wife and kids to SHUT THE DOOR!!!

Great point, I have a humidifier on my HVAC system, but I also have an auxiliary humidifier. I've put ten gallons of water in the air in the last three days... I was starting to feel a little bit of fret sprout on one of my guitars, and that's no good. My humidity was falling to around 30-35%. Too low. It's back up to 50% now.
