Seeking some technical wisdom....
Wanting to run my RXJR and M12 heads stereo. I’ve done this before and am pretty sure the two are not in phase. Now I know the permanent solution is to get a buffer/splitter that allows me to flip the phase on the second output and then send those to each amp. Looking at the Suhr unit for $120 but in the meantime wondering if it would work to just flip the + and - connections on one of my cabs?
Both my cabs are in phase with one another. Have tested with a 9V battery. One cab has the quick connector tabs though. Would swapping the positive and negative terminal connections achieve the same effect as flipping the phase right before the amp with some sort of box?
I’m theory, I assume flipping one cab essentially corrects the phase relationship so the two amps are now “in phase”. This would achieve my desired outcome for the mean time, but will it hurt my amp or my speaker to run it in a “reversed” setup like this?
Will it sound weird on it’s own to just run the reversed cab like this in a non-stereo arrangement?

That is exactly what you need to do. You will solve your problem without using any unnecessary or expensive add-ons. It won't hurt a thing. If you play the switched amp alone you won't notice any difference either.
The only reason I've ever used those other devices is to eliminate a ground loop.

That is exactly what you need to do. Wow! These were definitely out of phase. Swapped the connectors on one speaker and could tell right away. What a sound! Thanks, Zpilot for helping out.
