Hey fellas, Here's a really cool looking AC-30 preamp/ Rangemaster Treble Booster pedal from Catalinbread. The clips sound really good, wondering if anyone here has tried one. Check it out:

I had one, just like most Catalinbread pedals it nails the tone it is emulating. Cool pedal but not a staple for me so off it went.
If you are trying to nail a queen tune then that is the ticket.

Brian, did you have to set up your amp clean or will it work well with the amp 'on the edge' of breakup?

The pedal is wired pretty hot so the amp needs to be on the left side of dirty or at the edge as suggested.

My son just picked up this pedal and yes it gives the Brian May tone in spades thru a el84 type amp. We also have the Deacy/Vox BM amp to compare and its mighty close. Ive also got this tone by diming my ZWreck and pushing it with a hotcake. Its a great pedal and if you tweak the knobs you'll find there is more in there besides the iconic queen tone cheers!
