The band that I joined back in the summer had a rehearsal tonight for our NYE gig...brought the Z-Plus because I felt that my other amp wasn’t giving me enough oomph over the drummer, and I knew I wanted to use the Z at the gig. The Z Plus nailed it. Great tone, the variable boost pedal was extremely useful, and the Amp sounded great with pedals. Can’t wait to get the amp on stage.

You will be bringing the new year in on a good TONE!
Congrats on a great amp.
Ron.

I dig the way my Z-Plus takes pedals. Not that it is necessary...It's got great natural overdrive.

I had a similar situation last night. Since moving several states west all I have been able to do was use the Z-Plus at home. Last night I took it to an audition. It sounded wonderful. I used it in the 7 watt mode. Dialed it in for optimal tone and volume and just used guitars volume control to vary volume and degree of drive (dirt; and I hate to call it that as it is so much more). It handled all I threw at it. I got several compliments on the tone. This is one great amp.

I have a MAZ 8, which we all know is the cousin of the Z-Plus. Every time I get a chance to turn it up to it's full potential it amazes me how loud 8 Z-watts are.

It was not a good fit. We lived in two different plains. I knew it going in. Shame on me for going through with the audition, but I was hoping they might be able to hold a groove.
