Had to take a look around on Black Friday! My pedal dealer had these on sale at 50% off, so I figured I'd try one. This is likely not in most people's wheelhouse around here. This is a gainy & gainier 2-channel tubes OD pedal (it's almost like a bolt-on tuve preamp, in reality). I love these sounds and I've been tempted to get a high-gain amp but just haven't found one yet (I already have a 5150 212 combo). This things looks like I can just bolt it to most of my amps (running clean) and get the exact sound I'm looking for...and its compact. In Canada, this normally runs about $780 CAD tax/shipping included. Picked up a new one today for $386 CAD. I tried to resist but i figured I'd kick myself down the road if I didn't give it a try. This thing looks like it ticks all the boxes for me and has a cool vibe factor as well. Nice demo from Mr. Thorn as well.

Will you re-create Pete's jamming tune and post it when you receive it?
Thanks

That looks cool. Same setup as the Blackbird SR-71 pedal; two channels with 3 12AX7's running at high voltage. Thorn sure can make it sound good, that cat is cooking in the clip! Looking forward to your impressions, Keith!

Looking forward to your impressions, Keith! Funny, I don't think I've ever heard of that pedal but my dealers actually has that one in stock as well. I think ink the pedal will be great. I'm really looking for Bogner or Friedman in a box .....without having to buy a 60 lb, 30 inch wide box !
