It's been a while since I've added anything new to my board. Had a V1 RC Booster that I sold and I have missed it since. Grabbed this new unit for 50% off!! How could I pass it up? HAHA!! Looking forward to playing it!

Congrats. Back when I used pedals, the RC was my favorite "OD lite" pedal. The Box of Rock was my favorite clean boost (go figure) and slightly heavier OD. The RC sat right in the middle of the two BoR settings.

I'm Lovin my RC v2 yet as well. Don't forget to turn the blue LED light to set your 2nd lead boost volume. I didn't catch that option with my RC v2 when I first purchased it.

I bought a v1 a couple of years ago, but was hoping for more gain at the time, so I set it aside. I recently pulled it out and use it clean to boost the front end of the amp a little. Glad I didn't get rid of it. This is the first I was aware of the v2. It looks interesting.

Yeah I almost bought it when you had it up on board...Look at them xmaz lights...v2 has some of the v1 pedigree...but is a whole new pedal!

It could be used as a costly tree ornament or even as the star.

I gigged with the pedal this past weekend...great tones but I have just one gripe. Two switches on a pedal this size are just not ergonomically friendly...I would shut the pedal off when going for the gain 2 button. Happened a few times during the night. So my solos didn't get a boost til a couple notes in. It was a tad frustrating. So, I may just leave the thing on all the time and roll back the V on my guitar.

I use a GigRig multiloop switcher, and unless these dual switch pedal can give dual outputs, you can’t really use them with the loop switchers unless you have them on just one setting...........I tend to stick to single switch pedals these days, because the GigRig switcher is FANTASTIC!

I down to one of these or a Wampler Tumnus. I like the idea of adding just a little more gain with a booster. My Flying Dragon doesn't have that feature.

I have the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe sitting in a shopping cart ready to be ordered but find myself going back and forth between it and the RC booster V2. I’m leaning towards the TD since it has the EQ for mids and I already have a ocd on my board I can stack with it for a second overdrive. I would be using the TD for more of a Boost/EQ pedal as a always on though.

Just got my second RCv2 the other day. Had one when they first came out but sold it with other stuff I wasn't using. I think it's going to work well with my current set up.

Just got an RC booster v2 and I see what the hype is about. What a great two stage clean boost. Loves my suhr and gretsch and the rest of my set up. Now just lookin for a nice analog chorus to round out my sound!

Hi Mike, Man, sorry for the tardy reply - I'm really not on here much these days for all sorts of reasons, but thought I needed to check in! Yes, it's theQuartermaster, and I cannot think how I managed without it! The G2 is way more versatile, but also way too complex for my simple needs! The Qtr M is perfect! Built like a tank, and works like a dream......I love the toggle feature especially, where you can select any or all of the 6 loops, and have them toggle between each other. It would be even better if there were 2 channels to do this, but having one is great! (I run two Carbon Copies with different settings, and toggle between them) Hope all is well with you? Cheers Pete

I've had an RC Booster and BB Preamp for some years, great pedals even though really I keep them as spares, but I don't intend to sell either. I'm also sticking to the older RC with one switch, it's enough for me.
