Until I've only been able to play it in very quiet situations, gigged it Coffee House with volume very low or at home with Weber attenuator dialed way down... With the full band and a drummer last night I was surprised how much brighter it was for some reason... In that situation it had a lot more highs that I have heard before. The volume was at noon and then later I kept it on 2:30 . it cleaned up really nicely with volume knob on my Telecaster, and when I opened it up it was glorious! So touch sensitive and awesome sustain and such beautiful breakup and growl. I hit it with an overdrive pedal a few times and it was so thick and filthy dirty and pretty all at the same time :-) So so happy with this amp! I actually have the attenuator on two or three whole night . Very useful for dialing back or kicking Up the volume as needed without changing the tone or harmonic qualities of the gain. I'd say its plenty loud for the small rock band situation

Great to hear! It’s definitely brighter turned up. In fact, I actually had a bright switch added to mine so I could get some more highs when I’m playing at lower volumes, which really works well.

Yeah it's a totally different animal when you can really turn it up ... even halfway... Without a lot of attenuation it sounds thick and tasty ... chimey yet with growl. I cranked it over to almost three o'clock to see if I could play without any overdrive pedals and it had all the sustain and dirt I needed and yet didn't sound muddy, had a lot of nice harmonics you could hear each note :-) super impressed :-)
