I've tried a lot of clones and imitations and finally decided to spring for the KTR. Figured I could flip it if I didn't like it but guys this pedal isn't going anywhere. I never really bonded with any of the clones, and I almost didn't get this because I figured if I didn't really love the clones I wouldn't like the Klon KTR. But I get it now. There is a BIG difference in tone and general feel.
So far I've tried it with a Ghia, a Z-Plus, and my Nova. It sounds really great with every amp, but really sounds good with the Nova, which surprised me. I've got a slew of OD pedals and none of them were really any improvement over the Nova's inherent overdrive. The KTR adds a little something that sounds great with the Nova.
I'm really impressed with this pedal. It's expensive but it is well worth it.
EDIT: It loves the Therapy. My fingers are gonna need therapy from over playing my guitar today...

You OD pedal junkie!! The KTR IS a great sounding pedal. Lou, it's true that the first step to recovery is admitting you've got a problem. Trouble is, I like this addiction...after all, it's pretty much my only vice nowadays!
