I love when a new piece of equipment gets me wanting to practice more and my maz 8 has been doing that for me. Don’t want to get stuck if a tube goes so I was looking for advice regarding spare tubes. Not having any issues but...should I buy a full replacement set, swap out and keep my current ones for backup? If not, what would be the best course of action? Thanks for any guidance.

I'd start by getting extra 6n14n power tubes. The preamp tubes will last a long while before they go microphonic.

I'd also get one 12AX7 and a spare rectifier just in case. Those two with an extra power tube will get you back up and running quickly if things go south, especially at a gig. It's not likely more than one 12AX7 will go down at a time and it can sub for a 12AT7 if needed.

You can never have to many spare tubes and fuses. Better to have and not need then... you know.

I've been lurking in the shadows though. Sold my 18 early last spring and it's been haunting me since. But back with an 8.
