New Galaxie owner here! I plan to primarily ru. Channel 1 as a pedal platform using strats and teles. I’ve got the non master volume version with the presence knob. Looking for thick beautiful warm cleans that aren’t too harsh or bright. It seems like as long as the bass and treble knob increase along side each other it doesn’t get overly bright. Just thicker and louder? Anyhow all tips and tricks appreciated thanks!

Great amp, and welcome by the way! There are quite a few threads and posts in the Galaxie section for you to refer to. Much can depend on your pickups, speaker or speakers in use, and cabinet. Don’t miss the T*ROCK suggestions as he has clocked some real mileage on that amp. But I would say go ahead and twirl to taste, and enjoy the ride. Love the presence control along with the triad / pentode switch.

I've found that I need to roll the bass knob down to 9:00 or so to get the clean sound I like. I'd set the treble based on the guitar. I haven't played mine much lately, but It was my main amp for a while.
I really like a Klon type pedal pushing the front of the amp and an open back cabinet.

You can try a 12au7 in the PI and a 5751 or at7 in v1, they will let you use more of your tone controls, or at least thats the way it works on my master vol model
