I just ordered me-self an EMS 2x12 combo and given the 50 watt rating on the amp I'm afraid of blowing out the windows in my house and ticking off the neighbor. So I'm wondering if I can mount the Airbrake Light into the cab even though the rating is for 45W. I'm not going to be playing at 11 and won't be driving the amp to the max but I certainly don't want to fry the amp/attenuator etc.

I asked this question once as well about the EMS here and was told not to risk it. I eventually got a good deal on an airbrake, it was worth the wait.

The master in the EMS is pretty amazing. I'm guessing you won't need the brake.

I'm using a big airbrake with my EMS and it seems to work fine. I emailed the guys at Z and they said if you run 16 ohm out into a 16 ohm cab it would be fine (which is what the matching cab is), and if you were using an 8 ohm cab you could use the airbrake plugged into the 16 ohm out.
