I thought I saw somewhere (but now can't find it) a reference to where a person could get the exact same grill cloth that Dr. Z is now using on their cabinets. Is this information available? Thanks!

If we’re talking about the black Z Wreck cloth, I think there was another thread a while ago that concluded that was a Dr Z proprietary cloth and that sending the cab back to the Doc would likely be the only way to get it.

Either the black or the salt & pepper that's coming on the new Dr. Z 4x10 cabs. I have a 2011 head in black and a new Dr. Z 4x10 cab in salt & pepper so I'd want to go with one of those two. What I did was pick up an older used Dr. Z 4x10 and it's in gold with gold piping and I thought I'd replace that with either black or salt & pepper.

Dr. Z website says they do not sell cloth. A lot of manufactures do this. They have custom stuff made for their brand. If you want a matching cabinet, you have to buy a Dr. Z cabinet. It makes good business sense to me for a couple of reasons. 1. It prevents or at least minimizes fake Dr. Z cabs from being resold. We've all seen those threads where somebody was trying to pass off a fake DR. Z cabinet for the real thing. (Not members trying to do it, but members pointing out others trying to do it) #2: It helps Dr. Z sell more of his stuff, which is what he wants and needs to do. I have two Salt and Pepper Z cabs. I also use a Zlux head that has the Tan cloth. I would love them to match, so I understand the dilemma. I have considered trading grill cloths with another member to make them all the same, but it doesn't bother me that much.

I have 2 Dr. Z 4x10 cabinets and a Dr. Z EZG-50 head. I'm not trying to fake or fabricate anything. I'd just like them to match. Just too OCD I guess.

I wasn't suggesting that you were trying to do anything like that. You and I are in the same predicament. I would like my stuff to match to. I was only pointing out some of the reasons manufactures don't sell their cloth.

I should go further and say that I want my stuff to match and would like it to be same as official Dr. Z so if I add more Dr. Z stuff in the future (which I hope and fully expect to do) it will also match. If I wasn't thinking about that I could just redo all my stuff in the same cloth and not worry about it.
