Just to share: I've followed the AMA video of the good doctor and proceeded to a full yearly maintenance of my amp. Everything is tight and clean now and that amp sounds gorgeous, like it always does. Very satisfying operation.
During the process, I tried a WGS G12Q, a low efficiency american voiced speaker (20W, less than 96dB). Of course I had the Z-Lux on 20W and a click or two on my Brake Lite. Despite the lower efficiency (which was the only purpose of that try), I preferred sooooo much the Z12 speaker. I can have hard times making decisions sometimes, but this one was really easy. The Z12 gives me a much more full, juicy sound and that's exactly what I expect from my amp. So the Z12 stays in there.

That's good to hear about the speaker. I tried both a Fat Jimmy C1270 and a Jupiter 12 LC to see if I could improve the tone any. The Z-12 went right back in. I even bought an extra Z-12 off the Z website, just to have a spare. Cheers!

GuitarZ: So, I cranked up the privacy protection on my browsers, facebook, etc. I have to say I miss the music ads and such. I really don't need ads for watches and other random stuff. Maybe the internet knowing me isn't such a bad thing.

GuitarZ: Reminds me of buying my Honda. When they tried to sell me the maintenance package, I said "Is your car not reliable?" Long story short my wife teamed up with the sales lady to buy the maint package. Never again!
