Hi all, Last night my youngest and I were playing around with the Mazeratti Anniversary Head. I parked it on top of my 2x12 cab loaded with Greenbacks. I didn't particulary care for the Greenbacks with this amp (thats another story though), however, my boy was playing his Les Paul through it and I found something interesting. I enjoy turning knobs while he plays just to see what kind of sounds we can make. With the volume up around noon (pretty darn loud!) I turned the tone knob wide open giving the amp a very dark sound (recall the tone control is more of a sweep). I didn't like that sound very much so I slowly started rolling the tone control back. 1st, there is a wide variety of tones available when you take your time with the tone control, really, a lot of variety with a just a little bit of movement. However, right about 1 o'clock on the dial we got a very 3D sound out of the amp, almost like 2 guitars were playing. It was very cool. anyone else make any interesting discoveries? Todd ps, volume around 3 0;clock and tone around 11 was our favorite . . . . it was at that time that Patty came in my room (she was apparently trying to watch TV in the other room) and offered to make me a CAB switcher so I could move the amp to the other end of house and use a different cab. I think she was trying to say it was too loud

I found volume around 3 on the amp works great for guitar plugged straight in and controlling gain with guitar volume knob(s). Air Brake law in effect at my house

I just placed an order for some speaker cables so I can hook up my brake with the 30th Anni in the other room to my amp switcher. Its funny because Patty has been very tolerant of the loud guitar noises, especially since Joshua started playing . . .

I'm loving my Rati Annie! This amp has mucho mojo! Favorite settings are: Tele-Volume-11 o'clock Tone-12:00. Humbucker/P90's Volume 1-3 o'clock, Tone-11 o'clock. Takes pedals like a dream! What a GREAT amp! Very 3D! BIG and BOLD!

Noon on both knobs is my favorite setting. I don't have a brake lite though so, that's as much as I can get from the amp without being too loud.
