Yesterday I took a trip up to see Will Shea (HeyNewGuy's son) up in Saginaw, MI. Will has started working with Mule Resonators. He brought two of their products to ZFest 2018 - A tricone resonator and the Mule Caster. They were amazing instruments - so much so that I had to go see how they were made. I spent almost two hours there listening and learning. Not sure which one I'm gonna buy yet but I'm gonna get one! Will - Thanks for taking time out from your workday to talk with me. Here is a video of the Mulecaster - a cross between a tele-style guitar and a resonator. Here's one of the Mule Resophonic muleresophonic.com/fullscreen/charlie-parr-1922-blues/

Dig the Mulecaster. I was sure I wanted one of the base resonators until I heard that Mulecaster played through the Nova - absolutely nasty in the best possible way! I'd love to hear T'Rock play that combination some day!

I thought that Mulecaster was a cool guitar. I probably didn't need to see this post!
