Well, the nut at the high-e string broke on my 30-tear old beater sofa guitar. I will likely get it fixed but I figured it was a good excuse to sample the travel guitar range as a sofa guitar. I tried it against the GSMini and I liked both but I liked the sound of the Jr better. The action is a little high from the factory but I'm going to keep it like that for now and hopefully get used to it. The guitar has some 'pop' set up that way. It's a nice little guitar for the $$.

Cool! I've been thinking of a D Jr. for those times when (other people's) grabby, clumsy kids are around my house. (A "beater" sofa guitar, if you will.)
Also, I like your 15-series 12-fret slot-head on the right. I have its smaller doppelganger, the 0-body version. So warm & rich!

I have a Martin Backpacker and an HD-28V. Both came with high action. I’d say take that action down and enjoy!
Nice looking guitar!

Little guy needs a teardrop pickguard so he can look like his big brothers, though.

Also, on a quick glance it looked like one of your pillows said, "Lude" (as in "Ludes" / "Quaaludes," etc) LOL

Might be worth getting the action lowered a bit on that Martin. I have an OM28V which I bought with a high-ish action; tried living with it thinking it would sound better and it would be good to get used to it, but eventually after several years I ended up (long story!) having a new bone saddle and nut installed, the frets levelled, and now it gets a lot more playing time as it's a lot more playable! Still sounds just as good too.

Still sounds just as good too. It's actually not bad...typical Martin height. It's humid here now so ai gave a little truss adjustment and it's better. As well, it seems that the guitar comes with standard medium strings. Being a shorter scale guitar it just makes it stiffer. I play a little while, maybe try some light strings but if it is still a little stiff I'll get a little off the nut.
