So... this morning, a little after 9am, there was a knock on the door. As I opened the door, my attention was drawn to the Large Z on the side of two boxes next to the UPS delivery person. I immediately knew what it was. Super excited to open it up. Had to wait a bit, but man, oh man, was it worth it.
I have to admit, at first, I was a little bit disappointed that I didn’t get to have the customized serial number, but then I realized that I was getting #30 of 30 of the 30th Anniversary... The. Last. One... Not only that, but it is signed by Dr. Z himself. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Couldn’t get any cooler than that. When my wife saw it, she said, “you can NEVER get rid of this amp.” She’s right about that.
Plugging in briefly, this amp is spectacular. The look, the sound, everything. Hooked up my Timmy and, just wow! Even at lower volumes. This thing is clean l, clear and full. The matching cab is excellent too. Reminiscent of my old Maz Sr I reluctantly had to sell over 10 years ago, only better. I am glad that I am able to be one of the 30 to get their hands on one of these amps.
Thank you Doc for taking the time to make this one extra special. Thank you, Doc and Co. for bringing this amp back to life. Thank you, Sheree for working everything out for me.
I will cherish this amp.

GuitarZ: So, I cranked up the privacy protection on my browsers, facebook, etc. I have to say I miss the music ads and such. I really don't need ads for watches and other random stuff. Maybe the internet knowing me isn't such a bad thing.

GuitarZ: Reminds me of buying my Honda. When they tried to sell me the maintenance package, I said "Is your car not reliable?" Long story short my wife teamed up with the sales lady to buy the maint package. Never again!
