Can anyone tell me if they know of anywhere that makes custom toggle switches. I have a 3-pup prs singlecut. I want a 3-way TOGGLE switch (NOT a blade) that will give me each pickup INDIVIDUALLY, each on it's own. (bridge only-middle only-neck only) I have called Stew-Mac, Allparts, and Switchcraft, and nobody know's of one. we can send rockets to Mars, we have cell phones that will do everything but screw you, (there coming) but nobody makes a toggle switch like this. Is my dumb truck-driver mentality missing something here?

I think the problem is that toggle switches operate by flipping / rocking contacts and having a third one in the middle isn't physically possible. You might need to use a rotary switch for this Martin.

Sort of like the off-standby-on switch on some amps?

It can be done without changing the toggle. I had a three mini-hum Firbird non-reverse that I had wired up with a kill switch connected to the bridge pickup. My tone pots were/are always wide open, so I had the kill switch installed to replace the tone pot. Middle position on the toggle was bridge and middle pickup, but then I could hit the kill switch to cancel out the bridge pickup.
I paid someone to do it, so I can't help you out with the techie bits...

That is the one. That is what you want. All of the 3-pickup Gibsons I have ever seen were wired bridge pu / bridge+middle pu's / neck pu. Never with just the middle pu alone.

Martin, I don't know your level of electonics expertise, but if you have a question about how to wire your guitar up, PM me and I'll be happy to help you out. It's pretty straightforward. That's the switch that'll do it for you, it's a little pricey but it's the only game in town!
