Played my first gig with my Dr. Z Therapy head and a Dr. Z 1-12" Celestion Creamback speaker cab. The amp was singing! I had the master about 3/4 and the volume @ noon, mid almost all the way up, Treble at noon and Bass at noon. What a sweet sounding and performing amp!

I started off on this amp like you, mids almost all the way up. Using the same speaker (Creamback 65) I now run my mid knob all the way up and haven’t looked back. To me it adds sparkle and cuts through a loud band. My main reason is how awesome it makes my Tele bridge pup sound. Next time you play out you might as well dime the mids and see what happens. The Therapy is an amp I will never part with. Congrats on a wonderful amp!

I was using a 1993 Strat with Seymour Duncan single coils all night. The only thing I change when I am using humbuckers, is to drop the bass down to about 11 o'clock. Great amp!
