So, I ended up not buying an acoustic amp. Instead I'm going to try out the Boss AD-10, which is kind of an all-in-one acoustic processor (basically all of the functions of the Baggs Venue, plus looper, effects, and the kitchen sink--demos sound great), and a Yamaha 10" powered speaker as a dedicated monitor--all for less than the cost of a Loudbox Performer. We'll see how it goes, but I think it should work pretty well with the T5z. Will report further when it gets here midweek.

Looking forward to hearing what your results are. I'm a big fan of the Yamaha DXR series speakers.

Thanks--yeah, I went with the older DBR 10--a little less powerful but 10 lbs lighter and a bit cheaper. I figure for a monitor it'll have plenty of gas.

I had never heard of the boss AD-10. I'm interested to hear what you think of it.
