It's fantastic. I've used a few different models of clip on tuners. But I just kept going back to my regular Poly Tune pedal. I got the clip on Poly Tune last week. It's great. Works just as good as the floor version and is just as easy to read. It seems really well made and the attachment clip is very secure. Because of the way it's made it can be mounted in front or behind the headstock. Great product. I can't see any reason to ever go back to a pedal version. Some images lifted from the interwebs if you haven't seen it yet.

It works great, but I keep the mini PolyTune2 on my board as well. I like clip-ons for back up, I always forget to take 'em off the headstock!

I’ve got two of them, and yeah—best clip-on tuners out there. The pedal version’s advantages are silent tuning and no worries about battery life.

I play primarily Country and Western music. I don't like to tune my guitar.

It is the best clip on out there. Have one on my desk. I just used it 5 minutes ago. I'd never use one on a gig though. I have a cable and I have a tuner.

Do you think it is better than the Peterson Clip on strobe tuner? The Peterson looks well built as it uses metal in the case and clip but I didn't like their floor pedal. I found it hard to use on the gig. I do have a real Peterson Strobe tuner at the studio. That said, I really like the way the TC's work.

Yes, it's laminated tone woods like those 335 guitars.

I also moved away from my pedal version to the clip on. It's a great tuner!

My only complaint with them is the nut that holds the tuner snug can loosen and fall out. Don't ask how I know. Other than that it's a useful tool when you don't want to take up pedalboard real estate w a tuner.

Does this unit do "sweetened" tunings like the Peterson?

I have several clip on tuners....all around $10 each. There is one that is a standout. (disappointed in the others) Mugig T-1 clip on. Much better than the Snark.
Because the Mugig T-1 works so well, I'll pass on a $50 clip on.

I got one too the polytune is the best one I have had I tried some of the others. I actually was able to get rid of my poly tune tuner on my board all I use is the clip now. I downsized to a smaller pedal board so now I have more pedal real estate. It’s got a bright led. Easy to read.
