Anyone try or have one of these? I believe this one I’m looking into is a Fender American Standard with solid rosewood neck. I always liked the idea of a solid rosewood neck but just unsure of Tone? Looks cool!

I tried one here at Long & McQude here in Canada last year. Personally I don't think the neck made any difference in tone but of all of the Strats on the wall it was the worst feeling one of the lot. As well, it was a sunburst finish which I'd never buy. The neck certainly looked cool, though.

I tried one of the surf green teles with the rosewood neck that came out a couple of years ago. It wasn't a neck profile I was comfortable with but it looked very cool.

Does anyone know if George Harrison's Mahogany Body Tele have the Rosewood Neck? The body was a rosewood-maple-rosewood sandwich. The neck was made from two pieces of rosewood. Here's Fenders page on the custom shop reissue : www.fendercustomshop.com/features/harrison-tele/

I’ve heard this before- I may have to just try it out and see. Any suggestions for the perfect Tele? I’m looking to buy my first- And definitely want it to sound like a Tele!

Just pulled the trigger on a 2017 Fender American Professional Telecaster in butterscotch maple neck-- $1000. Mint! Don't have it yet but looks so nice-- The professionals have a vintage style bridge with brass barrels should be twangy!
