Please understand I have hand injuries. I'm not blessed with all my digits, but I continue on lol.
LP Custom Silverburst with PAF style pups, straight into a Zplus combo, straight into a Marshall 412 with heritage greenbacks. I don't really need to mention how bad I suck. But this should give anyone interested in the amp how far it will go. EQ bypass full. Volume and Master full. A little amp reverb. Low power!

I don't really need to mention how bad I suck. I listened to the video...your playing is fine. I'd grab a 6 pack and jam with you anytime.

Great playing! Way to show the dirt in this box! It really is a great amp! I appreciate the peek at the settings at the end!

Wow, that little amp really holds it together while dimed! No flub at all, articulate while chording - very impressive. Good demo as well - well done! Not at all fond of demos that focus exclusively on solos. They convey very little about the amps potential to the listener. Most irritating of all is certain large amp manufacturer (intentionally not named) whoās ideas of a demo is to have several Vikings in a circle hammering out single note speed riffs on their 9-string behemoths to demonstrate how ātightā the amp is.

That's a nice tone combination. I listened again with the speakers on 11.
I thought VH was in the room, but then the part where you hit the chord and bring the guitar volume up was missing, so I know it couldn't be Eddie.
Otherwise that playing would sound great in a band!

Hey this sounds really good, would you mind posting a picture of your set up and I can re-edit this video for you using the audio overlaid on the picture of the set up? Any thoughts on offering this little bad boy as a head? It's a splendid amp. Set up is LP Custom w/ 57' Classics - Cheap coily cable - Zplus - 1960 cab w/ Heritage Greenies.

Dude...you might have just sold me on this amp. It's a great amp. It has tons of great cleans and on the edge of breakup stuff too. I just wanted to show how it sounds all wound up. I just can't see how somebody couldn't love this amp.

Trying to wrap my head around how Z can build a 6v6 amp like this and get that kind of gain from it. I see that you have the volume AND master completely dimed...are you able to get this much gain at a lower volume (volume at max, master at 9 o'clock)? Just curious. I went to a shop in Atlanta on Friday to check one out, and they had every z amp that I wanted to try except the Z-Plus. Currently purging my gear, to whittle my collection down to two really good amps. Looking to sell my Tone King Imperial in order to buy a Z-Plus.

It's definitely not a high gain amp in regards to having loads of preamp gain. The volume/master work very well though. The tone in my video is a good portion power amp distortion. Won't be able to get that without it flat out, or close to it. Or maybe an attenutor of some sort? Between the volume/master and the half power switch it can cover alot of ground at many different volume needs. Hopefully you can find one to try. I have to say the power amp is beautifully designed. It has a GREAT feel. It has a good amount of saturation without feeling sloppy or sounding "farty". Feels good under the fingers. Also the reverb! I've never had a little reverb combo that I could run flat out and get a usable verb sound. Typically it would be way too splashy and a mess. The verb in the ZPlus sounds excellent for ALL kinds of things at ALL volume levels.

I assumed as much, but then again, I assumed as much when I played the Cure and the Z-Lux, and I was surprised that the cleans weren't quite what I expected. Not a bad thing...Z never copies anyone, he puts his own stamp on it. If I want a Fender, I'll buy a Fender. I want Z quality that can help me get a variety of sounds, including those Reverb-laden cleans.

The take some of the best characteristics that people love about other amps, and then creates his own design and incorporates those characteristics. It's genius. He is a wizard!
