Any thoughts? comments or experience with this combination?

I'm willing to bet it would be quite nice. Personally, IMO I've found that the M12 can bridge the gap between smaller Fender sounds and smaller Vox sounds, depending upon what you're doing with it, volume/tone settings, speaker, etc. I'd bet that this will land you more in that American camp but still be quite versatile. (For reference, I have an M12 1x12 combo, but mine's hooked up to a Greenback-style speaker.)

I don't have an M12, but I'm using the Z-12 with my Antidote and Ghia with great satisfaction. I prefer it over the Creamback M65 or whatever the number is. I really prefer the 2x10 cab with z- speakers, but the Z12 is a close second. So much so that I go back and forth often.
