Can I use the stand alone as an attenuator for a super reverb or is the super too high of wattage?

It's not the wattage, it's the Ohms. Neither the Brake Lite or the Airbrake do 2 ohms.

Unplug two of the speakers. The impedance will then be 4 ohms. A BF/SF Fender amp will tolerate that mismatch. If you have the SA attenuator stepped down two clicks you will have the power limited to where the speakers will handle it.
